School History dated 20th July 1950. G.L.O. Bell was the
Master leaving. According to Jim Dignall (who entered the
Senior School in 1949) he taught Maths. Lots of notable names
appear! |

Dr Alexander Adam, celebrated Rector of the High School 1786 -1810,
was honoured with a reception on the bicentenary of his death.
Held in the newly refurbished Edinburgh University Library, speakers
included a direct descendant, and the individuals who curated a splendid
exhibition of Dr Adam's and other contemporary artefacts.
