Left Regent Road through a builder's
door in 1967, the last year from 'the hill'. Nevertheless,
Calton Hill inspired a sense of history which has led to 31 years
teaching, the last 22 as head of history at Craigmount.
Still active in sport, although rugby and cricket are but a scrapbook of
memories. These are now replaced by strenuous efforts to
maintain single figures at Murrayfield, while attacking a growing
waistline through swimming and enjoying some very social curling. |
