The Royal High School  Club  was founded in 1849 with the objective of maintaining the history and standards of the principal school of Edinburgh.    It has entered its third active century with the same objectives in mind.    The move from Calton Hill to Barnton in 1968 and the change to comprehensive education in 1973 have not changed the objectives of the Club, who welcome all former pupils to its membership

The 2012 Annual Dinner will be held on Friday 16th March in the now familiar and customary Roxburghe Hotel in Charlotte Square, Edinburgh.    Further details will be available here in due course, but in the meantime get this date in your diaries!

Louise Stevenson was elected Club President at the AGM in March, and we look forward to her personal profile and plans for her Presidency in due course.

1950 School History has come to light, and been forwarded by Shona Thomson.   It was presented to GLO Bell on his retirement.  Many old favourites added their signatures!   Click here to see the image.
