The Royal High School Club was
founded in 1849 with the objective of maintaining the history and standards
of the principal school of Edinburgh. It has entered its
third active century with the same objectives in mind. The
move from Calton Hill to Barnton in 1968 and the change to comprehensive
education
in 1973 have not changed the objectives of
the Club, who welcome all former pupils to its membership

2013 AGM
was held on Thursday 21st March when Sheriff
Frank Crowe was elected President. He thanked Louise Stevenson
for her highly successful and active Presidency, and also thanked retiring
Treasurer Peter Yellowlees for his twenty four years of service - a hard act to

2013 Annual Dinner - was held
on Friday
8th March in the Roxburghe Hotel. Speakers included Eddie Tait (year
of 1991) George Smuga, Rector Jane Frith and Sheriff Michael O'Grady QC.

The 2013 London Club
Dinner was held on Friday 15th March in the RAF
Club in London. Guest of honour and principal speaker
was Philip Edgar-Jones (year of 1983), Head of Entertainment at BSkyB, who
delivered a pithy, informative and self-deprecating speech about his TV
production experience including Big Brother while at Channel 4.
