The Royal High School Club was
founded in 1849 with the objective of maintaining the history and standards
of the principal school of Edinburgh. It has entered its
third active century with the same objectives in mind. The
move from Calton Hill to Barnton in 1968 and the change to comprehensive
in 1973 have not changed the objectives of
the Club, who welcome all former pupils to its membership
The 2017 Annual Dinner will take place in Edinburgh on Friday 17th
March, while the London Club dinner will be
the following week on Friday 24th March.
The 2016 Prize-Giving took place on Thursday 30th June.
Club President David Williamson presided, and Russell Ogg delivered the FP
address. Photographs and a report are available in the News
Club President was elected at the AGM on Wednesday 27th April.
David Williamson is no stranger to the Committee, having served a number of
years ago. David is keen to meet as many FP's as
possible during his tenure, and his other plans for his tenure can be seen in
the News pages.
The 2016 Annual dinner was held at the the The Roxburghe Hotel,
Charlotte Square Edinburgh on Friday 18th March. Photos
